Our Origin Story
Primo’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a promise kept. Our journey began with a vow to Juan “Primo,” a friend whose loyalty, grit, and generosity inspired us every step of the way. Founders Chris Harris and Chuck Wang built Primo’s as a tribute to Juan’s dedication—a place where loyalty is rewarded, the underdog gets their shot, and hard work is always celebrated.
After years of relying on Tye’s uncanny gift for befriending literally everyone he meets, Chris and Chuck knew exactly who to call when it came time to lead the “customer-side” of hospitality. The result? A leadership team of four owners—each from vastly different backgrounds, each a proud representative of a minority community—bringing unique perspectives and lived experiences to the table.
It’s this mix of cultures, histories, and viewpoints that makes Primo’s unlike anything you’ve experienced in the industry. Here, every dish tells a story, every handshake means something, and every guest is family.
